What is involved?

Your first visit for reflexology starts with a discussion of your health history, concerns and goals you have for the treatment. This allows Susan to tailor the session to your needs.

Next, Susan will ask you to take off your shoes and socks and lie back on the plinth. She applies pressure to specific reflex points on the feet. The pressure is firm and therapeutic, but not painful.

Certain areas may feel warmth, tingling or slight discomfort. This could indicate organs or body parts that carry tension or an imbalance. After the session, Susan gives feedback on areas that showed sensitivity and offer advice.

So, a session involves discussing and assessing your needs, followed by applying pressure to the feet. This helps in promoting well-being and relaxation.

Susan is a seasoned reflexology expert with over two decades of experience.

Her Reflexology journey began in her childhood, where she used her nurturing hands to massage the feet of sick relatives. Even then, she recognised the healing effects of this practice.

Years later, while studying Holistic Therapies at Blackrock Further Education Institute, she realised that Reflexology was an entire treatment method in its own right. After graduating top of her year with a distinction, she went on to study with many renowned therapists, such as Ziggie Bergman and ___, a student of Eunice Ingham, the Mother of Reflexology.
